Part of the site's volunteer staff, Raymond (aka thecrew) is one of the moderators that keeps Kathy's internet forums operational. A great and appreciated friend of the site.
When and where did you meet Kathy for the first time?
My one and only time meeting Kathy was October of 2006 at Mohegan Sun in CT. I stuck around long enough and was definitely rewarded. Although the encounter was brief, Kathy acted as if she knew me forever. She even had Tom (who I didn't "know" yet) get her a better pen so she could sign my ticket stub.
Where did you grow up and go to school?
I grew up in Hazleton, PA and spent K-12th grade in Catholic school. I then went to Bloomsburg University and got my degree in Mass Communications.
What are your favorite hobbies or TV shows?
You mean there are hobbies other than watching TV? I do enjoy hanging out with my "crew" whether it is a fun night out dancing or a quiet night at home playing games or going to the movies. Any time I get to spend at a beach or amusement park is my favorite time! As for TV, the list is endless. I am a die hard Buffy fan and also love D-List, Survivor, Amazing Race, The Office and too many more to name.
What other comedians/celebrities do you like?
Ellen, Lisa Lampanelli and Wanda Sykes come to mind first in the comedian department. I also love Sarah Michelle Gellar and Christina Aguilera.
What do you like most about your job as a Moderator?
Keeping things clean so the posters don't have to see some of the nasty spam that sneaks its way online from time to time.
What do you like least about your job as a Moderator?
I have no complaints about the job itself. I just wish I had more free time to spend online, there are never enough hours in the day!
What is your favorite Kathy moment?
There is no way I can pick just one. I just love that I can relate to Kathy in so many ways on so many different levels. Two of the funniest things I can think of that make me laugh every time: her Paris walk and the imitations of her mom.
